I'll jump in and agree with Jess. I guess I should've sooner to prevent the misconception that he is the only one that holds that view. I've been following this thread and found it very interesting. Everyone sure has their own opinions and preferences. I have mine too. I prefer to develop using VFP, but even the latest version of Delphi has 'drag and drop' when it comes to web services, wdsl, and web pages. Have you seen Delphi's tools lately? Delphi also works great for data-driven apps like VFP. It's quite impressive. I would like to see the same available in VFP. I prefer VFP because I am comfortable with its tools and syntax. That doesn't keep me from wanting it to become a more robust development tool than it is already. If no one wanted it to improve on a regular basis and stay competitive, then we would all still be using Foxbase+
