>Hello Marcia
I was passing a parameter to a form and testing it in the load and init methods, in both cases the debugger showed the property as a local variable. I don't know why. I did solve the problem by simply declaring a public variable in the init method to handle the parameter, and the rest of the methods in the form had access to it.

Hello Carmen.

>>>Forgive me if I sound confused. I was under the impression that if you add a property to a form, that property is available for the duration of the form. <<

>Yes. This is the case.

>>> Example, I added a new property to a form, that will accept a parameter passed to it from another form. When I query the value of the property ( variable ? ), I see in the debugger that it is considered a local type. <<

>I am not sure what you mean here. Do you mean that you see the property in the locals window?

>If you save your parameter in the form's init to a form property it should be available to your entire form. If it is not, something else is going on here. Can you post the code that you are using to save the parameter?
