No; anything that runs inside of VFP is going to be single-threaded; you'd have to spawn a separate process that ran in the background to do this. Doug Hennig did an article on this for FoxTalk back in June, 2000 using WinZip and my API_APPRUN class, which is avilable for download from here on UT in the Files System; since the time that the article was written, WinZip has released a command line syntax for the registered version of their version 8.0 and later software.
