I can understand your desire to support Jess. But, the way in which you do so furthers the kind of ad hominem attacks that shed so much heat and so little light already.
If you feel the need to say this, I think it's better left to a private post. Let Jess and Ed figure out how they can communicate in a respectful way, if they choose to.
