How do you think we discovered that the tapes were no good. It wasn't even funny to discover that Arcserve reported no errors but the tapes could not be read. The reason I erased (I needed the room) the project was because I thought several copies of the project were available. I even checked the backup logs before I erased. So short checking each of the tapes by using restore I think I did everything. BTW it turned out that tape drive was broken.
