I never did such test, but I´d like to make clear something:

actually, ADO can work both with ODBC and OLE-DB Provider. For example, when you access a VFP 6 database with ADO, you´re in fact using VFP ODBC Driver. Now, with VFP 7, you can access the database using VFPOLEDB Provider.

Conceptually, OLE-DB provider must be faster and scale better than ODBC driver.

Anybody correct me if I am wrong...
