Hi Sam,
For anyone considering this position, I want to add here that British Columbia is one of the most beautiful places on earth. My favorite spot of course is Victoria. I used to live in Seattle and Portland and made quite a few trips up there just for enjoyment. If it wasn't for the cost of relocating my family, I'd consider it seriously. Good luck in your search!
