>>An important lesson in life is to be able to forgive, forget and move on. Getting embroiled in a misunderstanding does no one any good. You will come in contact with others during your lifetime who do not live up to your expectations concerning how they treat you or others. You will never change such individuals and should never try – it is a waste of time. It is like trying to get a drug addict or alcoholic to give up his/her addiction by having a simple conversation with them. They do not understand or care about what you are saying.

>>People have attitudes and personalities and they may or may not be acceptable to others. It is up to you to determine who these people are quickly and act in a manner that allows you to address them as is required and then leave them.
>>
>>World cultures may be different but human dignity is the same. Some people act like pompous asses but that is the way they are. Attempting to confront such individuals is a lost cause.

>>I am an “Original Christian” – a Catholic. We are taught we are forgiven and should forgive. Never hold on to a negative thought or experience in life. Look for the good and it will find you. Be positive towards others even when they offend you. You will always have your dignity intact.

>>One last thought – recite the Lords Prayer. Remember the part “as we forgive those that trespass against us”- it has great meaning and may better convey what I am attempting to say to you.

>Very wise words, Tom.
>Unfortunately, it is not always easy to see when the cause is lost & keep on trying in vain.

Len;

That is the human condition. It takes practice to put words into reality and being human we sometimes fail. But that is no reason to give up or cease trying. No one is perfect (well, perhaps in his/her eyes they are) so it is better to just remember we are all on this planet going through space and God knows where we are heading - we do not. We can either make the trip more enjoyable for ourselves or for others and ourselves. It depends upon ones attitude and interest.
