If you're going to that level, there really is no way to ever stop someone who wants to cause serious damage. The current implemenation of DBC events will stop almost everyone. You really need to know what you're doing to get around them. I think I know VFP pretty well, but wasn't aware that FREE TABLE would bypass the events. IMO, the application is safe by just turning on events.
