>The first part of the proposal is to revise how awarding of the PUTM is determined. There would be an establishment of a minimum number of points needed to qualify for a random drawing at the end of each month for the 3 months free PUTM. The proposal is, that to qualify for the raffle, a member needs at least 50 total points.
I don't see any reason for changing existing system in this respect. The PUTM should be awarded to the people who earned most points. You cannot compensate a weakness of the point system itself (what's implied by this suggestion) by random drawing for PUTM award.
>The second part of the proposal is to modify the points awarded. The points [10] for a solution would remain the same. However, the points for a helpful reply would be changed to 3 instead of 2 while the originator would only be awarded 1 point for each reply marked as either helpful or the solution. Currently, the originator gets 2 points for each reply marked as either helpful or the solution, while the provider of a helpful reply also gets 2 points. The provider of the solution gets 10 points.
I think it make sense.
>The third part of the proposal would remove the overall point standings from the main pages and only provide them from the Reports option from the messages area.
