i remember the clipper 5 book mentioning about coffee and late-night hours. it was a good book (on hanging the program - 'space, the final frontier', etc.). clipper made one a clipper hacker, since the code was available. my favorite lib was greg lief's 'grump'... anyway, i still wonder what happened to it. last time, i was hoping to get api and it was only two years later (my country's time) that they came out with the book and linking their codes with c codes.
now i'm here with vfp and it's kinda lonely not knowing what's happenning, although i guess it's better not knowing. the learning curve might become an upward asymptote.
