Is there a way to create a variable containing more than one font, or is there a font available which has letters as well as symbols. The standard Windows fonts don't seem to have both.

It seems that sometime ago I was able to build my own fonts in
Assembler. Along the same lines, is there a way to build your own
fonts cutting and pasting fonts together? It certainly would
simplify this problem as well as others.
