>I'm looking for a way to add the up or down arrow symbol to the front and back of a column header caption on a grid. This will denote whether the column is displayed in ascending or descending order. In the old DOS world, I could create a string like 'STORE CHR(148)+"LASTNAME"+CHR(148) to xtitle' and use the variable xtitle in my browse window as the header title. Grids don't quite work the same. Is there a way to create a variable containing more than one font, or is there a font available which has letters as well as symbols. The standard Windows fonts don't seem to have both.

It seems that sometime ago I was able to build my own fonts in
Assembler. Along the same lines, is there a way to build your own
fonts cutting and pasting fonts together? It certainly would
simplify this problem as well as others.
