Hi again Thomas,
I had the opportunity to travel to Spain -specifically Madrid- in september 1998 when I just entered the company I work for now (Mapfre Peru Vida). The matrix house is from there, Mapfre is well known in Spain and europe as one of the biggest insurance companies and has spreaded all around the world including Peru. By this time they were building and programming the applications we use nowadays and I went there to help on the programming tasks and to get used to them so I could implement them here with less or no risk and trouble. So it was mainly a working travel but I could meet some beautiful places around Madrid on weekends (Toledo, Segovia, Navacerrada). Music is one of my favorite hobbies so I also searched for any local guitar player and found Raimundo Amador's "Noche de flamenco & blues" live CD (I think the translation would be Flamenco & blues' night), I bought it and still listen to it, really enjoyable.
Tell your wife and relatives Miraflores is spectacularly sunny today, really great day!
