My guess is that at the time you call the report, the table you "think" is current, isn't really the current table. Make sure you do a SELECT MyTable just before calling the report. Or ... if you are using the report's data environment, you probably don't have the InitialSelectedAlias set the to proper table.

Another possible causes is that somewhere in your report you use a UDF or method call, which in turn, changes the current table so something else and then forgets to put it back.
