Go back a couple of messages maybe. My reference to possession and sale. Your example is indeed possession, and your local laws might get you a trip to the station. Here, the pot gets confiscated and you are handed an appearance ticket. You know, like having a tail light out. Minimum $45 fine. End of story. You may walk into a police station stoned out of your gourd - best they can do is public intoxication. That's the law.

You may never get a jail sentence when court comes around, but you were put in jail.
