Hi Steven,
Why not use 2 seperate but identical forms with different DE on each?

>I have a form which displays data from a table in a local app. I then had to extend my app to another facility. The most efficent way I came up with to do this was put a table of the same structure on their server. I do all data transactions via sql passthrough. But now suppose I am looking at my local data and then I desire to use the same form to look at the remote data(the remote table has the same name). I use sql to retreive the data into a cursor with the same name so all of my controls will be populated in my form. This goes pretty good until I try and go back to my local data. It seems that de.closetables and de.opentables will not release the cursor so select local table will pull from correct source. If I place close all tables before the de statements then it seems to release but then I get a message that porperty change will not take affect until de is reloaded.
