When learning VFP, I was told to name local views like lv_MyTable, and remote views like rv_MyTable, but I don't know whether this is a generally accepted standard.

Please note that it is also possible, in theory, to alternately use both local views and remote views with the same name (not at the same time, of course). This saves you re-design of your forms when you upsize to C/S.
