Ok, I think this was an uninformed question... I now believe that Exclusive = .T. is the default for all views and can only be changed for tables. This makes sense. A coworker came in and had received a "file is in use" error and pointed to this as being the probable cause. So I then took-off down that road... If I'm now wrong in my assumption, please let me know.
