I have used the version 6 Tree View on my form - my question is why doesn't it show up in my list of Active X Controls when creating my installation.

There are some non-trivial difference between the behaviors of the two different versions, and unless you are running under Win2K or WinXP, there's no provision for supporting multiple version fo the control cross-app.
