If those gamers want to continue their access to the games they will have to subscribe to passport. Passport is not essential to the game, MS is just changing the rules. It is also interresting to note that even though they were forced to subscribe many of them had problems connecting.

Let me attempt to clarify my statement, "That is up to the users". If you want to play with Microsoft, you do it there way. Otherwise forget it! Go find something else that is of interest to you. I find no problem with that as I do not eat, live and breath for the next Microsoft "vision" of the world. :)
