I'm using ODBC to connect to a DB2 database on an AS/400. One of the fields in the remote table is a BLOB (or CLOB or something like that). Anyway, it's supposedly akin to a memo field in Fox. The SQL select works fine if the number of bytes in the BLOB field <= 4096. If I try to Select with the BLOB field containing >= 4097 bytes I get the "not enough memory for file map" error.
I'm using VFP 6.0 SP5. I've got plenty of RAM. Sys(3050) shows plenty of buffer memory available. This is driving me crazy! It seems like there is a default system setting or something that is capping the memo size. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
By the way, this was done in Visual Basic and it works fine so I don't think it's the ODBC driver.
Thanks for any suggestions!
