Thanks, Nick. Oddly enough, as long as I've been using VFP (and earlier), I've really never used views. Due to some performance issues with a client that has an unusually large table, I'm thinking of replacing the current SET FILTER scenario with a view instead. (Most of the clients that use this particular application have very small amounts of data, so the set filter has always performed quickly enough.)
