Hi,

In 95 % of cases it would be the part where the number of records is maintained. For instance, opening the table with FoxBase+ (!!) will work, and adding an empty record (and delete it again) will have fixed the problem.
BTW, several tools exist to repair this in a "normal" way.

Note that an NT server enourages for this rarely, and a Novell server can cause this easily. This says nothing about local tables (C:) of course.
