>>>DON'T BELIEVE A WORD OF IT!!!!! Mercury is a poison, and certain children have different reactions to it. Just as some people are allergic to shellfish, who says an infant isn't allergic to mercury? Everytime I hear some arrogant quack quote that bullshit I want to rip his heart out and stuff it up his ass!

>>It's not that I "believe" it - I agree that mercury has no place in anything ingested by anyone at any time for anything. And I sure do expect that the makers of the HepB vaccine are using an alternate by now.

>>Thinking strictly of my new grand daughter, she's had her shot for it now. The only comfort that I can take is that she shouldn't be exposed to any more mercury through vaccinations. My only recourse is to hope that what she did get hasn't hurt her enough to cause any problem.

>Flu vaccinations also use mercury preservatives. They are now linking prolongued yearly vaccinations with Alzheimer's in adults.

For a while, my wife was writing a work on heavy metals (lead, cadmium, arsen, mercury) in food. By the time she was halfway through it, we got connected to the Web, and I was in charge of surfing and finding any relevant material. To our utter amazement, there was a gaping absence of any work on the matter coming from USA. We found articles from all parts of the world, and the freshest ones from the States were years old and were about lead mines or a couple of industrial plants affecting their vicinity. There was no trace of any serious investigation of the content of heavy metals in food items. I didn't do any serious search on that for at least five years, but I'd figure the results may well be the same.

In that work she had thousands of numbers (that I crunched and munched in various spreadsheets on Atari and PCs, plus mFoxPlus etc) with years of laboratory findings on these four metals in wheat, flour, bread, cakes, additives and dough in general. They were done by a local laboratory for the city bakery, at least once a month.

So if a local city bakery had paid for those analysi for years, in a semi-developed Balkan country, something seems to be very fishy if nothing of a kind can be found here.

Good luck with your kid - wish he grows up strong to fight back.

What, me reckless? I'm full of recks!
Balkans, eh? Count them.
