You cannot automate Outlook Express. You can, however, use simple MAPI. Doug Hennig had an excellent article with sample code in the FoxTalk: "Get the Message". It was in the February 2000 issue. Nigel Coates also has a Mapi class in the files section here.

Simple Mapi is pretty well documented. The help file is Mapi98.chm and you should find it in you windows system directory.
