there are couples of way to do so:

1. using DCOM. Write a class and compile it to COM EXE. Deploy it as DCOM to your target PC. Call the DCOM object from your PC.

2. Setup up IIS5 in your PC (WIN2K or above) and call it using Web services, as in intranet

3. Have 2 program running in both PC, send your "command" to other pc using Winsock, once the host pc receive ur command, run approriate program or processes.
