>It's going to be a long, hard struggle. I guarantee there will be a large body of research on the effects of mercury on developing nervous systems. The drug companies are fighting to limit their losses by imposing a three year statute of limitations on damages. In other words, if the defendent can't prove that their damages were caused by mercury poisoning within three years, they don't have a case. The limitation could vary from state to state: three years from the birth date; three years from when the problems were first reported; or three years from when the problems were reported and a suit was filed. It's a nasty court battle because the number of affected children is astronomical. This could wipe out a few pharmaceutical companies if strong enough evidence can be made. The problem is mercury poisoning and autism are so interelated, it's hard to prove that a child's condition is mercury related. Testing for high levels of mercury is pretty strong evidence. Many physicians cluster these vaccinations at the same time, which boosts the level of toxins into the system in one deadly jolt. I have been in contact with one parent whose child went immediately into toxic shock and died a few weeks later. Once this hits the general press and the media picks up on what's going on, it's all over for the drug companies. But the AMA are the real culprits. Only a complete idiot would think of injecting mercury into a developing nervous system. I won't stop pounding this issue until some careers are destroyed and people go to jail. I will never trust Western medicine again.

You don't have medicine around here, you have health industry.

BTW, I'll always rather trust my wife's acupuncture needles than anything else. I take medicines only when she says so (she's a doctor), and then she always reads the fine print and the composition of the thing. She's already found some ridiculous stuff, like one box being advertised as "ephedrine-free" but then there was some other derivative of ephedrine inside.
