For those interested, Codemine 7.0 RC1 has just been posted. Version 7.0 implements business objects (called Codemine Data Environment). It also hooks up elegantly to a back end through remote views or SPT.

Besides speed and good naming conventions, I like that it allows me to migrate an old FPDos app in stages via a FieldValid() method in screen objects. I plan to migrate FieldValid() code to business objects a form at a time and yet have a working app from the beginning.

It's worth a look.
