Everyone says you should do an install but we have everything on the server. Nothing is installed on the desktop. All the dlls are on the server. This has never caused a problem and is very handy. When there are any problems you know that everyone is executing exactly the same code and machine configuration does not play into it ... except of course for the numereous printer driver problems.
