Using the latest Client Access ODBC drivers and VFP 6.0, I am attempting to read from a CLOB field in a DB2 table. Very suspiciously after reading 1 byte more than 4K (4096 bytes), I blow up with an error "Not Enought Memort for File Map". This is a *1* record test table. I can write large files to the CLOB with no problem, it's just the read files after 4K.

Is this something I need to upgrade with VFP? A setting change? The 4K aspect of this problem is too clean a cut-off...

My coworker wrote a VB program that reads the CLOB just fine (I would like to at least prove that VFP can do it if VB can!).

I'm unable to map the select I make to a general field in VFP... That appears to be all handled internally by VFP and it wants to make a memo field.

Please help! Thanks, --Mark
