I have written several programs that use an electronic file and "scrape" off the data needed. All it does is put the report into a data base and I go in and find scertain lines by position and assign the data to a variable to be put into a table somewhere.

I have started using Monarch and involking a Monarch session from VFP to use a Monarch Model and Project to get my info. Tha Monarch model then goes in and creates a DBF to be used later. This is nice but all clients will not have this program. It would be nice to use VFP only.

I guess my biggest thing here would be getting the report into an electronic file using VFP. This is laways a pain becuase you never know how many pages the report has and in some cases they don't even have a descriptor on the report header to let you know how many it is. If it did, I could at lease go there and find out how many times I need topage down.
