While there may be philosophical issues at FPA, I also think a major problem with the magazine is lack of VFP Developers not writing articles for it. There really is no other well for them to draw from for articles. If we are not writing, they have nothing to publish. I know I should start writing some for any of the pubs, but the time... I also do not know if their policies are part of the problem in bringing in new material since I have never approached them about articles. Seems, thought, I have heard a rumbling or two about some hurdles there.

>>You may have used the "incorrect font". For the last 9 years major companies (Sun, etc.) have used optical scanners to read resumes. Only a specific font would be read and all others rejected. So you had to have “inside information” from the company you sent the resume to as to which font was in use.

Jim;

It might just be the usual complacency and self-serving attitude that permeates all too many American businesses. My weekend and personal life are more important than anything else. Do not bother me as I have plans to make for my free time. If you ask for service you are a troublemaker and your name will go to the bottom of the list. I am the lowly worker but I control the horizontal and the vertical. Now let me get back to something important – like filing my nails! :)
