ActiveX controls in VFP
>When using ActiveX controls, some projects get "_VFP.Autoyield=.T.", while others stay at default. Have not seen a difference, except one time; execution appeared a "little" slow (when Autoyield was on).

AutoYield is set off for critical, non-interruptable processes. In most cases, you would want it on. I use credit-card authorization activex that requires AutoYield to be off.
1) not advisable
2) yes, maybe even off/on for specific method calls
3) yes if other system processes are active
