I'm using the following in a select:
@@CONNECTIONS AS CURCONN,@@MAX_CONNECTIONS AS MAXCONN
I don't think I'm getting the information I thought I would be getting. the @@Connection number just keeps going up. Yesterday it was 1800+, a few minutes ago it 9144. Exited the application and restart and the connection count was 9149. Max connection returns a constant 32767.

I guess was I thought I would get was the number of Active connections. My fear is that is what I'm getting and eventually, when it hits 32767 something bad will happen. The application is running VFP7 and I'm the only one connecting to the sql server (although I tend to have the enterprise manager open, and sql anaylzer at the same time).

Pointer greatly appreciated.
