Mike I feel sorry if that happen to you, I've start spending some time in the UT a few months ago and I don't notice that, what I see is all the questions being answer even the more basic ones, this ones usually get a short answer this way the user can also go to the help file and see a more extended explanation the more advance users shouldn't forget that some time a go they also have been a beginners. In my opinion what we see here in the UT is the fox community a work, always available to help anyone that needs that help and this is what makes this community so great and something that the others communities will like to achieve.
>>Hi Mike and why not the newsgroup users spend sometime in the UT.

>It think that the "caliber" of questions asked from users on the newsgroup is different than the ones being asked at UT. I think some of the beginners in VFP tend to stick to newsgroups and the more advanced users come to UT. "A long time ago" when I first came to UT to ask what I though was a relevant question, and the answer that I got was more of a put-down than an answer. I think that is the way for a lot of new users, they prefer the newsgroup "setting".
