Yes you are correcct. My problem is that I can't seem to find a way to stuff it back in the right place in the rtf code. I might be able to figure out a way to do it, but one of my concerns is if the word is in there more than once, plus it seems like it would take me a bit of time to do it.

>I don't use FoxSpell, but why would you no longer be able to use it? You can get to a property of the RTF to give you just the plain text and pass that onto FoxSpell. Does it give you back the misspelled words?
