The problem is those kind of memory faults get trapped at the OS level before VFP can handle it and give you an intelligent error message. VFP could check some of these things before it's too late, but it's not in this case. You should strongly consider upgrading to VFP7 because a lot of the C05 errors have been cleaned up in VFP6 and VFP7.
