Thanks for the KB article number. I'll go get it right after I post this. In return, here's where I got the information. This is a rather old book, but hopefully it's been revised and re-titled:

The thing must be 10 years old. However, I've seen a program I wrote back then that makes some of the calls, including the drive type one, still report back accurate information.
