I've run into this one a few times, so I guess I'll make this a formal E.R. In the Utilities.PRG file there is a function called: IsComObject(). Unfortunately, WebConnect has the same function. Both of them do different things. In MM, it checks to see if the VFP app is running in COM mode. In WC, it lets you check to see if an ActiveX control is registered. Honestly, I'm way more likely to want the WC functionality instead of the MM one. So, would it be possible to rename the MM in a future version? Maybe something like: IsVFPCOMObject? Or whatever. I keep running into this because a lot of my MM apps have needed some WC functionality.
