I did actually know how to add custom classes... I have a bunch of _visual_ ones. It was the non-visual ones that threw me. Although now that I think about it, I'm really not sure why... The programs in the classes would just go into methods and variables into properties. Doesn't seem that hard anymore. Maybe that click did come and I just missed it. :)

As to understanding OOP and knowing where to put things, I must admit that your answer seemed odd to me at the time. I just figured it was something I'd understand eventually. :)

>OK, now I remember. You just put your classes in a .VCX. You can then make your class library available by pressing the stack of books in the Form's Control toolbar and Adding... your class library. You can make it a permanent addition to the list via the VFP Tools\Options...\Controls and setting whatever class libraries you want using the Visual Class libraries option group. Any set here will appear in the Forms Controls toolbar Library button (stack of books) list.
