Yes, that is true. I got into the habit of doing this way ages ago because I think there used to be a problem (maybe version 3 or 5) accessing the control's internal list if the columnCount was not specified like I did here. Of course, I could be wrong < s >. It's one of those things...I just started doing it like that and have just kept on doing so.
