Despite the Lord of the Rings movie officially starts today (in Canada at least) me and my family had a chance to see it yesterday night.

Great movie!!!

As a long time fan of this book, I paid attention to all details and can say that it exactly matches my vision of the book. So far I can't say that there were any obvious goofs, just a little changes to fit some 400 pages book into 3 hours.
Well, Galadriel could be a little better.
IMHO, the movie should get a lot of Oscars.
