Here is how I do it:

1. Double-click on the object.
2. Switch to the method I want, if needed.
3. Edit the code.
4. Close the editing window.
5. Run the form -- see there's still problems
6. Stop running the form
7. Start over at #1

At no time in this do I manually close the form, nor do I use view/code. And yet, it is not consistant with what method opens. Usually, it's the same one, but sometimes it will open the one I last edited instead. I never did figure out a pattern to it.
