>I created an InstallShield Express installation package and it is installing fine on most machines but it is failing on 2 machines. I think the problem is that those machines have errors in their registries. I am not an expert about the Registry, but it looks to me like a registry entry erroneously points to the U: drive (these machines have no U: drive). Or it may be that the installer is looking for a key named "Features" and not finding it, I'm not sure.

Check the Microsoft site for a program named RegClean.exe. I think the current version is 4.1a. According to the December 2000 issue of Windows 2000 Professional, it can safely be used to clean the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT hive. I've tried to find it on the MS site, but unfortunately haven't had much luck.
