I’ve got a form used to search for an address. In table Prop_97 I have a n(5) field named prop_numb. There are records that contain the number 10655. If I do:
SELECT * from prop_97 WHERE prop_numb = VAL("1065")
I get three records with this value. If I do:
SELECT * from prop_97 WHERE prop_numb = VAL("10655")
I get no records. However if I do:
SELECT * from prop_97 WHERE ALLTRIM(STR(prop_numb)) == ("10655")
I get two records. Is there something fundamental I’m doing wrong in the second statement? Why don't I get any results?

Thanks!
