This isn't a problem as such, but I just want some advice as to what I should really do.
I'm currently in the initial testing phase of my project and there are times when I get the odd error comes up..you know divide by zero, incorrect data-type..that kind of stuff. Anyway, whenever this happens the grid that is on my form (it's a simple app) goes completely mental. It cycles through a set of error messages that state that the columns in the grid cannot be found interminably. I have do the dreaded Ctrl-Alt-Del and shut down VFP completely to get out of it.
The grid is on page 2 of a page frame, it is bound to an alias. I only bind the recordsource and each columns control source properties once I've opened the table as my alias. Each column is either a number, date or string.
This hasn't happened before. I've had grids that have been bound the same way on page frames and I got exactly the same sort of errors in a previous project, but without the hassle. Any ideas??
Ive been thinking that I might use a list box, but the look n feel isn't the same. Are there other nastier grimblies just waiting for implementation??
