If you are opening your view in the DataEnvironment and the NoDataOnLoad is FALSE, you should place the following in the BeforeOpenTables:

set talk off
set deleted on

If this is not it, and you are using a private datasession for the form, you need to read the topic in VFP Help on SET DATASESSION to see all the environment settings that are scoped to each datasession. SET DELETED is one such setting. So your form LOAD needs to have these SET commands in order to establish the working environment for all forms that use a private DS.
