You're right on all counts; spelling, and the story is long and confused. It's like learning a newly discovered language simply by reading a book written in it. Ok, it's exactly like that... I know only one person who has actually read the whole book and they are a foreign language professor. I think somebody once attempted a translation, but I can't recall for sure. Maybe just wishful thinking on my part. Though, if you talk to my friend he would say that the fun was in the self-translation and not the story itself.
