My daughter recently gave birth to my grandson. I asked her to describe how it felt. Her birth was a 'spine against spine' delivery and she said it felt like someone was using a chainsaw on her. My wife agreed. Since my daugher was our second child I asked my wife if, after experiencing one childbirth, was she afraid of a second. She said yes, but pain killers helped a lot. It is easy to understand how a women could be turned off by sex in the days prior to pain killers. I have a friend whose is a dentist. His wife is a strong believer in natural childbirth. The had eight kids. The last one was the most difficult, because of her age.
