>I have a report in which I am using a parameterized view (Date filter). When I run the report an input window pops up and asks to enter the date. So far so good. When the preview screen pops up, it asks for the date again. Lastly when go to print the document, it asks for the date yet again.

You can:

a) Assign a value to the variable before running the report (you have already been told this should be private, not local - public would work, too).

b) Use queries instead of views. You can copy the SQL statement from the view designer.
